Shakira age 49, born on February 2, 1977, is a Colombian singer-songwriter and pop singer from Barranquilla, Colombia. She first gained fame with her 1995 major-label debut album, Pies Descalzos. She later found international success with “Whenever, Wherever” in 2001. Her 2006 hit “Hips Don’t Lie” reached number one. “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” became one of her most recognized songs. In 2016, she voiced Gazelle in Zootopia. In 2017, she became the first artist to have four Spanish-language songs from the same album become Billboard Hot 100 hits. In 2020, she co-headlined the Super Bowl LIV halftime show with Jennifer Lopez. She remains one of Colombia’s most widely known global music stars.
